Learning Needs Analysis

Learning Needs Analysis.

Learning Needs analysis

A Learning Needs Analysis (LNA) forms the initial phase of any bespoke solution offered by Rubus Associates. It is also the most important phase. Failure to get the needs analysis right will mean that the learning solution will not be right.

The LNA phase also forms part of Rubus Associates methodology to Assessment and Evaluation of any learning solution, bespoke or otherwise. It is vital during the LNA stage that criteria are set for measuring the effectiveness of the training at all levels.

Needs analysis occurs at several different levels -

  • Organisation
  • Occupational
  • Individual

As no  two organisations, occupations or individuals are the same the LNA phase needs to be carefully carried out to ensure that any learning solution will be the best solution now and in the future.

At it's base level a LNA essentially looks at the current status, determines the future status and bridges the gap between the two.
