- New managers to gain vital skills that are required in the modern workplace and older established managers as a re-fresher event and as a way of keeping up to date with the latest management techniques.

- An authoritarian or dictatorial management approach is no longer considered the most effective management style.
- Highly successful managers are able to develop and use a range of management styles and to apply the most appropriate one for the task facing them.
The management style may also need to adapt to fit with different teams and individuals. - This is a practical event which will use exercises and syndicate groups to develop and practice different management approaches.
- This one day event will provide delegates with a range of management styles and the ability to judge when best to use each.
